Whether you are a returning student or exploring the Gardens for the first time, the Botanic Gardens is your 40-acre oasis. New and returning UCR students are welcome to attend our special activities and giveaways during Welcome Week 2026. As a bonus, shop our Plant & Swag Shop (credit card sales only) from 9 am - 1pm for low maintenance succulents, cacti, and UCRBG branded merchandise. Our on-site horticulturists will be ready to help you select the perfect plant for your space.
