Every January the public is invited to the UCR Botanic Gardens to attend the annual Rose Pruning Demonstration, which takes place in one of our Rose Gardens. Botanic Gardens staff, volunteers and local experts demonstrate how to prune hybrid tea, floribunda, grandiflora, miniature roses and climbers, and are eager to answer questions and teach guests how to properly prune roses.
Join us at a plant & branded merchandise Pop-up Shop (credit/debit card sales only) from 10 am - 2 pm, Friends members enjoy early access from 9 - 10 am. Then, learn how to take care of your roses from 12 - 3 pm and you may even win a drawing prize!
