Volunteer Orientation Sessions are held the second Tuesday of each month at 9 AM. Meet at the entrance to the Gardens. Please wear comfortable walking shoes as the Volunteer Orientation includes a tour of the Gardens by Theresa Arial, manager of the Gardens. The tour will highlight the various volunteer opportunities available.

Become a UCR Botanic Garden Greeter!
Consider becoming a Garden Greeter at the entrance to the Botanic Gardens. If you enjoy being outdoors, meeting people and helping to support the Gardens, consider volunteering a few hours a month (or more!) greeting visitors and providing maps and general information about the Gardens.
